From the Phenom Hoop Report VA Top 80:
Wells came in with an attitude and a motor ready to show that he belonged. Wells possesses a strong frame, and very good court awareness from the mid to high post area. As he continues to advance, we would like to see Wells continue to develop his explosion. Wells finished shots at multiple levels and showed the willingness to crash the boards hard.

High School Coach Evaluation:
Logan has an extremely high motor and he’s a very intense, physical player. He crashes the glass hard and is a high volume rebounder. Offensively he’s capable of knocking down set 3s (good in pick & pop action). Needs to improve his back-to-basket game but cleans up well around the rim. But as a sophomore with his size, he’s got a very high ceiling and could potentially be a high major prospect. – Coach Bryan LaRussa, Atlantic Shores Christian School

Coach Frank says:
Logan is a punishing inside presence, strong, physical and active. He is one of the area’s best rebounders on both ends partly because of his large frame and physical style but largely because of his great motor. He outworks opponents for the basketball and establishes excellent position inside. Logan is more of a stretch four type, can hit the spot up jumper and is a capable passer. He has a good touch around the rim, is more comfortable facing up, has excellent mobility. He handles well enough to get to the basket on the short drive, is effective in pick and roll situations or as a high post where he can hit the 12-15 foot jumper at a good percentage. Logan is also a very good baseball player, is a well liked and respected teammate and has great work ethic. He is an exciting prospect with excellent potential.
