Personal:
“I am very focused and working hard towards my goal of earning a full scholarship to play college basketball. I am very excited about the upcoming season and look forward to winning games with my teammates”. – Chris Anderson – Kempsville HS

Coach Frank says:
Chris is one of the area’s most athletic players! He’s long and has very good speed and quickness. He handles the ball well and can create his own shot in transition or attacking the basket in the half court. Chris finishes well and attacks the basket with authority, will be more dominant at the rim as he gets stronger but has impressive balance and footwork and does a good job finishing with contact. He has a nice release on his jumper and is a threat to score on the perimeter as well as at the rim. He plays with great energy and enthusiasm, gets after lose balls. Chris is a very good defender, is bouncy and active and is able to defend the paint as well as the small forward position. Chris Anderson is one of the 757’s most promising freshmen, his elite athleticism and high motor are impressive as well as his basketball IQ and court awareness. He is a disciplined and likeable, high character young man and you can’t help but be really excited about his upside. Chris comes from athletic roots. His Dad, Todd Walker was a TE and four year letter winner at Indiana University who helped lead the Hoosiers to four bowl appearances between 1987-1991. Chris plays wide receiver in football and also runs track where he finished 7th in Virginia Beach in the 800. Keep an eye on this exciting 2019 prospect!
