AAU Coach Evaluation:
Keyshawn played a huge role at Lafayette as a freshman on varsity. In doing so it landed him 2nd team Conference 25 honors. Keyshawn is quick to the basket and can create problems for defenders with his speed. He brings a competitive attitude to the game and is very confident when attacking the basket. In AAU this past summer Keyshawn led the team in 3pts baskets made. Defensively he brings havoc to any offense. He has the mentality of a safety in football and can get his hands on a lot of balls that are thrown accross court. He can grab the rebound right off the rim and push it down the court. – Coach Marble, Virginia Venom AAU

Coach Frank says:
Keyshawn Jefferson has a well rounded, fundamentally sound game and plays with a high motor on both ends. He handles the ball very well with both hands, has an excellent crossover move, an explosive first step, and ability to change speeds. He has very good court awareness and high IQ which helps him become a solid playmaker not only for himself but for his teammates. Keyshawn has an uncanny ability to finish in traffic and with contact and is also an excellent passer off penetration. The lefty has a textbook release on his shot and has excellent range. He scores in all three areas with very good consistency and is tough to defend because of his sound skill set, quickness and impressive court vision. Keyshawn is a very good rebounder especially on the defensive end where he defends with an attitude and smothers the offensive player with active feet and hands, really competes on every possession The athletic and quick sophomore has excellent leadership skills and his team seems to play off his energy. He wants the ball in crucial situations and is not afraid to take the big shot. He is poised and has a very mature on court demeanor. Undoubtedly one of the top 2018 guards in Virginia, keep an eye on the progress of Keyshawn Jefferson as his high school career rolls on!
