AAU Coach Evaluation:
Antwan Miles is one of the best players in the state in the 2018 class! A pure shooter that, at times makes it look easy against very good competition. Antwan scores almost at will from the inside and the outside and is a very good passer. He is also a defensive menace! He plays passing lanes extremely well along with tremendous on ball defense. Antwan has the combination of speed and power which he uses to his advantage, also a very high IQ. Antwan will be in the starting backcourt for Phoebus this year and if you haven’t seen him play you need to go see him; he is a top notch talent. I really love coaching this young man. He is a natural leader and a winner! He plays taller than 5’9 because of his long wingspan and athleticism, also has huge hands. Plays above the rim. D1 coaches should check him out! – Coach Jay Thorpe, Hampton Hoyas

Coach Frank says:
Antwan looks like he was born to play basketball! He has elite skills and athleticism, strength, plays with great confidence and is silky smooth. He has a long wingspan, is physical and has GREAT bounce! A talented and versatile high scoring guard, Antwan creates offense for himself and for teammates as he can get to the paint with dribble penetration and is a willing passer. He has a tight handle and uses a good combination of quickness and a strong upper body to slice his way into the lane, absorb contact, hit the mid range jumper or explode to the basket for a dunk! He has a quick release, disciplined shot mechanics and can hit the three pointer with good regularity. For a sophomore he has a confident aura and impressive court presence. His IQ and decision making is advanced. On the defensive end Antwan can match physicality and quickness. He is a tough, scrappy on ball defender with quick feet. Antwan has that “it” factor and looks like a seasoned veteran more than a sophomore. He is an impact player right now and his basketball future appears bright! Antwan Miles ranks right up there among the top of a deep 2018 class in the 757!
