Spicer is a tremendous guard for Northwest Guilford. He certainly has Northwest thinking a big season ahead and showed that recently at the Phenom Jamboree.

He is a very talented guard that can knock down the open shots, very skilled with the ball in his hands and getting to the rim, and understands how to help his team in several different ways on the floor.

Phenom Hoops has been high on this young man for some time now and it is now everyone’s chance to see what this kid can do on the big stage at the Millbrook Showcase.

What Has Been Said:

5’11” Junior Jalen Spicer
Spicer is a flashy, but fundamentally sound, point guard that carries the ball on a string. The lefty has early offers from Florida International and UNC Greensboro. He is a leader and a player that others naturally flock to, look for the offers to continue to grow.

  • Jamie Shaw

Last year, Spicer averaged 12.9 points, 5.0 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game for Northwest, as the rising junior helped his team to a 23-4 overall record. They are off to a 1-0 start this season right now and with an event like this, more programs could be heading his way.

Spicer holds offers from UNCG and Florida International, while programs such as Charlotte, High Point, and Maryland Eastern Shore have all expressed interest.
