2024 Quamir Ingram (Bethany)
This kid is a super skilled guard! He played at a very controlled pace the whole game and did not get sped up easily. He does a great job of playing off two feet and also getting to his spots on the court. Used his quickness to his advantage a lot and his aggressiveness helped him create opportunities for others on the court. He also has a pretty good body size already at the guard position.
2023 John Baldwin (Northwood Temple)
To say this kid was impressive would be an understatement. He was an absolute beast in the paint! He has great size at 6’11 and moves really well for his size. He was super aggressive under the rim and played very physical on and off the ball. He is an above average rebounder and I was all around impressed with this kid. Love his effort on both sides of the ball and he exceeded his role on the court today. Coaches in need of a big better keep an eye on this kid before it’s too late.
2023 Athan Gill (West Rowan)
The most confident player I have seen today easily. Has a solid size at the guard position and this will be a kid to keep an eye on this year. His raw athleticism was being put on display all game today. He has great IQ and did a great job of reading the defense. Handled pressure effortlessly and does a great job of getting to the rim and creating his own shot. Will definitely play at the next level and coaches should be keeping a close on eye on this kid.
2023 Chad Clarke (North Buncombe)
Could not be stopped from behind the arc. He was on fire today raining in 6 three pointers! This kid is the definition of a sharpshooter. He has very good range behind the line and made it well known to keep a hand up. He also made some really good reads and made some smart passes. Kid has really good shooting form and a smooth release. Overall had a really good game and and even more consistent jump shot.
