We continue to bring coverage from multiple weeks at the Phenom Hoops Fall League, as we have had over 70 teams compete throughout and get an early display of what teams have to offer. Continuing our coverage out in the West Division, there have been a few players who have continued to capture our eyes with their ability to knock down shots. Here are a few players that have been big threats from deep.
2026 Ryan Chen (Bull City Prep)
What a year Chen has had in North Carolina, as he really has carved out a name for himself no matter who he is playing with. Once again though, Chen continues to remind me just how much he can change the game when his shot is falling and the confidence he has. Chen doesn’t lack any confidence in his perimeter game, picking his spots and displaying a fluid release with range. But again, he just isn’t a knock-down shooter, as it is clear that this is a high IQ guard who can mix it up really well offensively. But has shown he can be a deadly weapon from deep.
2027 Jacob Mills (Carson)
Mills is a known prospect early on for what he brings, as it has been noted on several occasions when watching him. Game after game, Mills is that game-changer for his team and is a big weapon when shots from deep are falling. He is terrific in getting to his spots and has the utmost confidence in his shot from behind the arc. But like others, he is starting to show more of a well-rounded game and not just a deadly option that can change the game from behind the arc.
2025 Brady Dunn (Marvin Ridge)
After the showing he put on display in Week 3, knocking down 11 3-pointers in one game, Dunn had to make his way on the list. Though I would describe his game more as one as a leader and a point guard that controls the offense, Dunn has shown that he can be a weapon scoring-wise with his ability to knock down shots. He has had a strong summer and has only continued to show that in the Fall League.
2027 Jeremy Duhon (Gaston Christian)
We introduced our readers to Duhon as a new name to watch and he continues to show that he is taking the next steps in understanding and developing his game. But one thing is for sure: he can be very beneficial when he showcases his shot-making ability and does so well early on in catch-and-shoot situations. On multiple occasions throughout the Fall League, Duhon has shown a ton of confidence from behind the arc.
