Heading back down in Texas, Phenom Hoops is starting to learn about a new and on-the-rise prospect in 2027 6’3 Cadarian Urune from Rowlett High School, and one that has been playing with Texas Impact this summer. The 6’3 guard has been having a strong summer and showing a bit more about his game/potential, as he could be a name to start checking out more. In watching a bit about him Urune is a guard that has a good blend of playmaking ability but also can attack to get downhill, finishing strong around or at the basket, as well as being able to create and get to his spots.

We wanted to learn a bit more about him, along with his thoughts on earning his first Division 1 offer recently. Check out what he had to say and a few highlights below.

Past Season and Summer, as well as Development:

“This past season was solid we went 8-8. My summer has been well, and I just picked up my first Division 1 offer. I’ve been working on my vision and running the offense.”

Game Description:

“I’m an all-around player. I run the point well and I can score off the ball.”

Earning first offer from Mississippi State:

“My thoughts on my latest offer is that I’ve honestly never been more thankful because that coach changed my life. The staff told me that I had a good work ethic, and they will be recruiting me hard for the next 3-4 years. I would love to set up a visit with them down the road.”

Other Schools He’d Like to Visit:

“I’d love to set up visits with schools like Baylor, Mississippi State, SMU, TCU, West Virginia, Purdue, and many more.”
