2022-23 Stats: Only a freshman, the 6’6 prospect has been getting plenty of experience early on at Cedar Grove high school in Georgia, as he is averaging 14.1 points per game and he just earned First-Team All-Region honors
We are spreading our range and coverage with Phenom Hoops, as when went down to Georgia for our latest player spotlight, and this is a freshman that you will be hearing a lot more about. When going back and reviewing some of the game films from this year, you can clearly see the flashes with 2026 Manny Green at Cedar Grove.
Automatically, he catches your eyes with his strong, sturdy 6’6 frame and I would be guessing around 200-pound body. He has a great feel for the game already and you can see his versatility in his game, playing multiple positions, being able to operate inside and out, and taking advantage of his matchup. When reviewing the film, Green was assertive in getting downhill and out in transition, finishing strong at the rim in impressive fashion as well as through contact. Green also did a great job in matching up, making plays at the top of the key, squaring up and knocking down shots from the perimeter, and also being strong enough to put the ball on the deck to get paint touches. But he uses that size and athleticism in other ways, being a strong presence on the boards and being able to defend multiple positions.
There is a lot to like about this young man’s game, and he will be an even bigger name outside of Georgia very quickly in our opinion. Right now, he already holds an offer from Cincinnati, but his recruitment should really take off quickly, so start learning his name quickly.
