#1: 5’3 ’27 Kennedy Moore (O’Neal School)

First up, Kennedy Moore is a 5-foot-3 prospect in the Class of 2027. Despite being the smallest camper on this team, she consistently found ways to make an impact. Moore possesses a very high IQ, strong motor, and well-rounded skillset. She displays excellent quickness, creation instincts, and scoring polish from all levels. Moore anticipates well to force turnovers defensively. Next in her development process is working on her ability to move without the ball, as it would allow her to find more scoring chances as a cutter and spot-up threat. Coach McCarthy on Moore: “Kennedy is a really good ball-handler who can use both hands. Solid pick-and-roll player with really deep range and the ability to knock down jumpers at a high clip from beyond the arc. Kennedy can work to improve her defensive intensity.” Moore proved to be an asset during camp and should be a focal point for the O’Neal School going forward.
#22: 5’6 ’26 Jayla Wyke (North Mecklenburg)

Next, Jayla Wyke is a 5-foot-6 prospect in the Class of 2026. She consistently stood out as a positive teammate and useful contributor who understands how to produce within the flow of the action. Wyke possesses a high motor, unselfish approach, and a willingness to do whatever possible to give her team an edge. Next in her development process is working on her awareness as an off-ball defender, as it would make her a more complete player. Coach McCarthy on Wyke: “Jayla is a really good athlete who competes hard and is super coachable. She has a really positive attitude and sees the floor well as a passer. She can continue to work on her outside stroke.” Wyke made her presence felt throughout camp and should be a difference-maker during her upcoming senior season at North Mecklenburg.
#23: 5’6 ’27 Ashley Charles (Wilson)

Next, Ashley Charles is a 5-foot-6 prospect in the Class of 2027. She’s a steady, fairly well-rounded piece who understands how to fills in the gaps on both ends of the floor. Charles stood out through her IQ, motor, scrappy nature, and ability to do a little bit of everything offensively. Next in her development process is working on becoming a craftier ball-handler, as it would allow her to become a more dynamic creating threat. Coach McCarthy on Charles: “Ashley is a great teammate and hard worker! She is a solid team defender and has a capable shot from beyond the arc. Ashley needs to be more assertive on the floor and take advantage of opportunities when available.” Charles found several ways to make an impact during her time at camp and should be poised for a strong junior campaign at Wilson Hall.
#43: 5’8 ’27 Jewel Gully (Seventy-Fist)

Next, Jewel Gully is a 5-foot-8 prospect in the Class of 2027. Between her size, toughness, and physicality, she was able to cause problems for opponents. Gully is a rugged, physical player who knows how to utilize her strength and nose for the ball to consistently make plays on both ends of the floor. Gully excels at attacking the basket and finishing or capitalizing on the offensive glass. Next in her development process is working on her ability to handle the ball, as it would make her a more complete player. Coach McCarthy on Gully: “Jewel is a very physical player! She’s a solid finisher who uses her body well around the basket to absorb contact. Makes her presence felt as a defender. Needs to improve her range.” Gully enjoyed a quality showing at camp and should be a key piece for Seventy-First going forward.
#60: 5’10 ’27 Camille Rozzell (NC GBB)

Next, Camille Rozzell is a 5-foot-10 prospect in the Class of 2027. Given her lethal shooting ability, she found ways to be effective with or without the ball in her hands. Rozzell stands out through her nonstop motor and team-oriented approach to the game. She secured rebounds, defended with energy, and consistently got to her spots offensively. Next in her development process is working on the use of her off-hand, as it would make her a more complete player. Coach McCarthy on Rozzell: “Camille has a nice shooting stroke from beyond the arc. She plays really hard and stands out as a good team player on both ends of the floor. Camille can continue to work on her attacking and finishing.” Rozzell did an excellent job of playing to her strengths at camp and should be a major contributor for NC GBB over the next two seasons.
#61: 5’10 ’27 Tandriyana Allison (Statesville)

Next, Tandriyana Allison is a 5-foot-10 prospect in the Class of 2027. Given her size, unselfish mentality, and general physicality, she found ways to make an impact without requiring the ball in her hands. Allison showed the ability to finish and knock down the occasional jumper, but primarily stood out through her rebounding presence and willingness to make hustle plays. She moves well without the ball and positions herself effectively on both ends of the floor. Next in her development process is working to get quicker, as it would make her a more useful penetrating threat. Coach McCarthy on Allison: “Tandriyana is a very physical player. She’s a nice rebounder with the ability to finish decently well around the basket. Tandriyana needs to work on improving her range.” Allison made her presence felt throughout camp and should be an asset for Statesville going forward.
#79: 6’2 ’27 Khloe Joyner (McDowell)

Next, Khloe Joyner is a 6-foot-2 prospect in the Class of 2027. Between her incredible blend of size, skill, athleticism, and two-way versatility, she was clearly one of the most dominant campers on display. Joyner showcased the full arsenal with creation instincts, scoring ability from all levels, and the tools to dominate opponents defensively and on the glass. Next in her development process is working on her ability to move without the ball, as it would allow her to find even more scoring chances. Coach McCarthy on Joyner: “Khloe is an excellent all-around player. She has phenomenal court sense and IQ. Does a great job facing the basket and getting to her spots. She pushes the tempo well on offense with the ball and sprints without it. She’s great at finishing and passes with really good vision. Superb athlete. Increasing her physicality and extending her three-point range would be her areas to improve.” Joyner was clearly among the notable players on display, earning a Top Performer award, and should be poised for a highly productive season at McDowell.
#177: 5’6 ’27 Rhegan Kent (Ardrey Kell)

Finishing up, Rhegan Kent is a 5-foot-6 prospect in the Class of 2027. Given her IQ, motor, and unselfish approach, she did a great job of finding ways to produce within the team structure. Kent knocked down jumpers, both from midrange and beyond the arc, and attacked closeouts at a solid rate. She defended with energy and toughness. Next in her development process is working on the use of her off-hand, as it would make her a better finisher and creator against pressure. Coach McCarthy on Kent: “Rhegan has an excellent attitude and solid shot. She has a really nice feel for the game. Needs to continue to increase her lateral quickness and work on attacking with an emphasis on finishing. Really coachable!” Kent found ways to make an impact during her time at camp and should be a key piece for Ardrey Kell over the next two seasons.
