Class: 2027

North Carolina brings a lot of talent to the court and Lady Phenom has been spotlighting several players around the area. We rewind it back to a few names from this past offseason at the Lady Top 80, as several players have continued to play at a high level from the camp. 2027 Jewel Gully has been a strong presence in her junior season, averaging 12.2 points, 6.6 rebounds. 1.4 assists, and 4.1 steals per game, as the Falcons have been strong this season.

Gully has made her presence felt in bringing a balanced attack, as she leads the way offensively this season but is also getting it done all over the court on both ends of the floor. She continues to attack and score around the basket, as well as making her presence felt on the glass.  With her impact defensively, her energy and strength, and ability to attack, Gully shines as a focal piece for the Falcons as they look to make a run in the playoffs.

Lady Top 80 Evaluation:

“Next, Jewel Gully is a 5-foot-8 prospect in the Class of 2027. Between her size, toughness, and physicality, she was able to cause problems for opponents. Gully is a rugged, physical player who knows how to utilize her strength and nose for the ball to consistently make plays on both ends of the floor. Gully excels at attacking the basket and finishing or capitalizing on the offensive glass. Next in her development process is working on her ability to handle the ball, as it would make her a more complete player. Coach McCartha on Gully: “Jewel is a very physical player! She’s a solid finisher who uses her body well around the basket to absorb contact. Makes her presence felt as a defender. Needs to improve her range.” Gully enjoyed a quality showing at camp and should be a key piece for Seventy-First going forward.”
