Lady Phenom is continuing to highlight players that we have recently seen as of late, and 2026 Tristan Shivers from the Carolina Flames and Hoggard High School is the next prospect that we wanted to talk about. Watching her recently operate at the Lady Phenom MDC, we were highly impressed with her overall feel of the game and her playmaking ability.
Shivers was off the charts throughout the weekend, especially with her ability to lead the offense, find her teammates, and be a strong offensive scoring threat. Her vision and court awareness are what set her apart from others, pushing in transition and seeing the whole floor, delivering dimes to her teammates to set up easy baskets, and being such a crafty facilitator in general. Time after time, she made on-point passes for easy basket and really controlled the game for her team. But that doesn’t mean she couldn’t produce and create for herself, understanding where to attack, score in transition, finish through contact, and be an effective scoring option from the perimeter. Shivers brought a tremendous balance to the court, which is why she added an offer shortly after the event from Middle Georgia State University. But I believe more schools should be coming her way.
