Lady Phenom continues to highlight players all around the state, as there is talent to be found all over.  Now checking in on a prospect that recently caught our eyes, 2026 Kate Breault was a prospect who made her presence felt all throughout the event as of late.

We recently had a chance to watch her in action at the Phenom MDC, where we had this to say:

“Kate Breault (Team Griggs) is a sniper from deep range. Plays the right way, getting her teammates involved, but can definitely score with the best of them when she’s aggressive. Tight handle under pressure & she can read the progressions in actions.”

Breault can be a deadly weapon on the court, proving that she can knock down shots in a hurry and with a ton of confidence.  She attacks and makes plays, displays strong handles on the court, and makes high IQ decisions on the court, allowing her to bring a balanced overall attack. Whether it was displaying range or creating her own show (as well as find other teammates), Breault was able to find success and flourish as a key piece on the court. This past season, she was able to show more of her game, averaging nearly 10ppg and shooting 44 percent from the floor, while also contributing 5.2rpg, 2.5apg, and 1.4spg.  Breault is a sneaky, underrated prospect here in North Carolina who should be catching more eyes with her overall play.

Evaluation – Jay Lawson

“Breault is a deadly sniper from deep range. She plays the game the right way, getting her teammates involved but she can easily score with the best of them when she’s aggressive. She picks & chooses when she wants to get to her spots. You can count those points if she’s left open at any spot on the floor. She has a tight handle under pressure & she can read the progressions in actions. Passes the ball well with both hands and demands excellence from her teammates throughout the game. She has high upside if she continues to develop her game.”
