The talent continues to run rich around the region, as we continue to highlight players all around the state and more. A player that has been on our mind as of late has been 2029 6’2 Naomi Adigun, a prospect that was able to shine in a big way at the Phenom Lady Rumble.
Naomi, who is the younger sister of Greensboro Day’s and Harvard commit Julian Adigun, presents a ton of intrigue with her overall game and potential. She already presents tremendous size as a 6’2 prospect, but what impressed the most was how versatile her game truly was. Adigun can play multiple positions with her feel for the game, whether it is running the offense and creating her own shot, playing off the ball to knock down shots, or even using her size to operate around the basket. She is highly skilled with her ability to attack off the bounce, scoring over defenders, displaying strong handles, and finishing strong. But she just isn’t a scoring force from inside and out, but she makes quality decisions in getting others involved, running the offense, and also impacting the game in other ways, such as attacking the boards and being a defensive presence.
With her size and at her age, Adigun presents a lot of intangibles that college coaches would love to have at the next level and she looks to only continue to develop her overall feel. With all of that, this makes her a must-see prospect in the Class of 2029 here in North Carolina.
