
The Lady NC Top 80 and Lady Freshman 40 is quickly approaching, and we are gearing up for what should be a historic day for Phenom Hoops and Lady Phenom. The first of many events on the girl’s side, and we can’t wait to see all the talent on display at the event.
This is why we are looking to bring the best of the best as far as staff. Meet Giavonni Mack, as he has been selected for the Lady NC Top 80. Learn more about him here.

As a Charlotte native, Giavonni attended Providence and Butler during my high school career, totaling over 1000 points and 400 assists. Throughout his high school career, Giavonni received a couple of first-team all-conferences, Conference Player of the Year, Charlotte Observer Player of the Year, and all-district honors. After high school, Giavonni moved on to play division 1 college basketball at Texas Southern University. Following a conference championship season there, Giavonni returned to the state of North Carolina and played at UNC Pembroke, which resulted in three more conference championships.
Giavonni graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and played one season in Istanbul, Turkey where he was named Newcomer of the Year and Import Player of the Month.
Following a career-ending injury, Giavannoi returned to Charlotte and searched to find a new passion. Gio pursued a career in training and coaching. Assistant Coach for Charlotte Latin women’s basketball and Owner of Team Mack basketball training as well as Team Mack AAU organization. He has found a niche in developing and coaching players to be the best versions of themselves on and off the court.
