What Has Been Said by Phenom Hoops:
“Big fan of 2026 Kohl Rosario (CP3 EYBL 2026). He is going to make a program very happy with his work ethic, his focus and mindset, his athleticism, and his ability to score from so many levels. Does what is needed for his team, but also a human highlight reel.”
“Rosario has been one of my favorite players to watch this season. Of course, his highlight reels speak for themselves with his impressive athleticism along with his ability to finish at the rim. But his game is so much more than that; he is a strong guard that fits well within the offense, doesn’t force anything, and takes what is given, whether that is attacking the basket or knocking down shots. He plays with an excellent overall feel and is a tremendous teammate on and off the court.”
“When you talk about this 6’5 combo guard from Moravian Prep and YNG Dreamerz, one can’t help to notice that he may be one of the most explosive athletes in the country. Game after game, you can catch him flying high and throwing it down with authority, finishing strong at the rim, attacking in transition, and bringing a ton of energy. However, Rosario offers a lot more with his game; he plays the game with a high IQ, is comfortable knocking down shots from outside, is strong off the dribble, and can impact the game in several ways. But he certainly has no issue putting a defender on a poster.”
“There were several notable standouts, but Kohl Rosario was arguably the most intriguing prospect in attendance. It takes about ten seconds of warmups for spectators to notice he’s abnormally explosive, however, he’s far more than a pure athlete. Rosario possesses an incredible blend of size, motor, and perimeter shooting. His strength, toughness, and nonstop energy allow him to get involved in seemingly every possession. Rosario attacks the basket well, both as a cutter and threat off the bounce, but is arguably at his best when applying pressure from beyond the arc. He showed the ability to heat up in a hurry and covert against heavy defensive attention. Additionally, Rosario is a quality defender and rebounder who routinely overwhelms opponents with his general presence. He’s certainly a Division I prospect (and physical specimen), so it’ll be interesting to see how his recruitment unfolds going forward.”
