Jaron Williams of Upward Stars- York County had to be one of the most versatile players present at the showcase. At 6’5 Williams is quick and strong enough to matchup with guards and bigs alike, he’s tough on both ends. Williams led the York county squad in scoring, and was among the top two in rebounding and assists. On championship Sunday our staff saw Williams play his best game of the event.

The Upward stars battled early foul trouble which forced Williams to serve as the primary ball handler and he went into playmaker mode. Williams could potentially play the 1-3 in college depending where he lands.

Williams is fundamentally sound and understands the game, he’s also not afraid of the big shot, as we saw him nail a big three pointer late against a tough Queen City thunder team. Williams has all the tools and confidence to be a good collegiate player.

This guy is one to watch for throughout the rest of the Phenom July Exposure period.
