Lady Phenom was on deck for Lady Attack Elite Media Day, as we were introduced to the newest program director, Jenn Temple, who will be taking over the organization. We were able to sit down and ask her a few questions about her excitement for this upcoming summer and what she hopes to provide for this organization.

See what she had to say with us.

Lady Phenom: What is your excitement about the job opportunity with Lady Attack?

“First of all, thank you to Anthony George for trusting me. I feel like I’m going to be filling some big shoes, but I’m super excited about the opportunity. I want to keep it going, keep it at the elite level he has brought it to, and just continue to expand/grow it with the elite talent around the area.”

Lady Phenom: What is it like to be able to take over such an established organization?

“I feel honored would be one of the first things I would say and super appreciative as well as excited about it. I have young kids that will hopefully come through this program, so honored would be the right word. I’m a little nervous but in a good way. I’m just excited to see where Lady Attack can and will go.”

Lady Phenom: What is your motto or your statement that you are hoping to leave on this program?

“I would just continue what Anthony has been able to do. He is a workhorse, and I just want to continue doing, and keep grinding. And I want to find coaches who also like to work hard and develop kids. It is not just about running up and down the court, it is about developing kids so that they can play at the next level.”

Lady Phenom: We have five teams here at media day. What kind of noise do you think these teams will be able to make this season?

“I’m super excited about all our teams. They started out strong in the tournaments they have been in. I think that being in the Select 40, we are going to be able to compete. And I’m just excited to see where it goes at the tournaments coming up.
