South Carolina’s 2019 Rankings

6'7' Marlow Gilmore
Hunter Kinard Tyler (Neeses, SC)
SC 2019 Ranking: 15th
Current Offers: South Carolina St, Lincoln Memorial

You cannot watch Gilmore and not get incredibly excited about his length and explosion. Perhaps the most explosive kid in the state of South Carolina, he is a true defensive dynamo, able to defend the 1-5 at the D1 level. Gilmore's town of Neeses, SC has only 375 people in it, so not many people have seen him. In high school (3 years) he has averaged 21.2 points, 13.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.7 blocks per game. He has been named 2-time All-State and 3-time Region Player of the Year. Regardless, he has done his part in performing, coaches, you need to get out and see this kid. He does some special type of things on the floor.

6'7' Juwan Perdue
Lakewood HS (Sumter, SC)
SC 2019 Ranking: 12
Current Offers: South Carolina St, Radford, Jacksonville St

Perdue is just boiling over with potential and upside. The lefty has great length and good pop to his game. He is great in the passing lanes, really closing off angles on defense and collecting deflections and steals. Perdue has a nice handle in the half court and great vision. He can defend multiple places and you can line him up on the wing, high post or on the block offensively. He is a great grab and go option to generate transition baskets. So much upside with him and someone that if you can look at and image what he could end up being, the upside is limitless.

6'6' CJ Felder
Sumter HS (Sumter, SC)
SC 2019 Ranking: 5th
Current Offers: Ga Tech, VCU, USF, Murray St, ODU, UNLV, FIU, Charleston Southern, etc'

Felder, still young for his grade, is a man amongst boys on the floor. Five years ago, he would have been considered a power wing, in today's game he is considered a small ball four. Felder is very strong, has great length and is entirely explosive with the ball in his hands. Think of him as a Draymond Green type of player, with the ability to rebound, push and initiate while guarding multiple positions. He plays with a chip on his shoulder and is a player you get in your system and win games with.

6'7' Ishan White
Berkley HS (North Charleston, SC)
SC 2019 Ranking: 8th

Current Offers: Oklahoma St, Stetson, NC A&T, Presbyterian, SC St, Winthrop, etc'

White burst onto the scene at Phenom's Challenge Live in April and boy did he break through. During and after that event, he picked up every offer he has. White is an incredibly strong player, very explosive with a fearless approach to attacking the rim. He rebounds well and blocks shots as well as shows range out the 3-point line. There is so much here, so much pop in his game and ferocity when he elevates to dunk on you. This is one who could show up after 2-3 years in college and really become a national darling after making an NCAA tournament run.

6'3' Deuce Dean
York Prep (Rock Hill, SC)
SC 2019 Ranking: 11th

Current Offers: St Joe's, So Miss, Rider, Colorado St, High Point, Citadel, etc'

Dean is a familiar name among the national narrative. He is a big bodied guard who touches the paint regularly and has great vision once there. He has played in a lot of big games as York Prep plays a national schedule and then as the starting lead guard for Team Loaded North Carolina on the Adidas Gauntlet. His recruitment is all over the board, in fact we are a little surprised he does have 15-20 offers right now. Without a doubt, he would be a difference make at the schools who offered, heck he would be a difference maker at a lot of colleges across the country. Dean is also a very high academic student.
