The Phenom G3 Live period brought talent from all over the region to Raleigh (NC), as the competition was tremendous and we had an opportunity to learn several new names (along with some familiar faces).

The NC Heels Elite were a very intriguing team coming into the event, and they didn’t disappoint. This is a roster that has next-level talent, and there were a few players who really caught our eyes in the Class of 2026. Let’s dive into their games a bit more.

2026 6’10 Talla Mbaye

Mbaye continues to be a prospect of interest with his size, consistency, and his ability to impact the game in the paint. Standing at 6’10, Mbaye has a blossoming game that one can see potential as a developing big. He brings a great frame that will allow him to find success down the road, but also shows touch, feel, and a strong motor that allows him to flourish on the court. Mbaye finishes well around the basket, finishing strong at the rim or operating well around the basket, as well as creating opportunities by attacking the glass. He also does a great job in being a physical presence defensively, moving well and staying active throughout.

2026 6’8 Lansana Krubally

Krubally is another prospect that really grabbed my attention, as the 6’8 prospect brings a lot of versatility to the court. With his length and size, along with how well he moves, Krubally is one that can create a tough matchup. Whether it is pushing in transition, scoring off the bounce, getting to his spots, or finishing at/around the rim, Krubally finds ways to be impactful on the offensive end. Defensively, he plays with a strong motor and his length creates problems for opponents. Overall, Krubally is an intriguing prospect to watch out for more this summer and down the road.
