#8: 5’11 ’19 Cameron Maul of Ben Davis (Indianapolis)
Cameron Maul is a great teammate, who made everyone around him better at the offensive end. His ability to score at all three levels makes him a threat from all over the court. His ability to finish at the rim over size makes him a threat every time he is able to get into the paint. His high basketball IQ and team play make him an ideal player at the point guard position. His impressive ball handling capabilities rounds out his offensive play. Expect him to continue maturing as a defender, rounding out his game at the offensive end of the court. Coach Saunders on Cameron: “Cameron has a great change of pace, providing a nice burst in transition. He is a very refined mid-range shooter. Has shown the ability to be an extremely gifted ball-handler.” Look for Cameron to have a strong junior campaign at both ends of the court for Ben Davis.

#11: 5’11 ’18 Jaden Terry of Lawrence Central (Indianapolis)
Jaden Terry is a great player at the both ends of the court, making his living at the defensive end. His ability to stop the ball in transition and as a set defense makes him an extremely valuable asset to his team. In addition to his defensive skills, Jaden showed the ability to be an extremely valuable offensive weapon. He showed the ability to step out and shoot the three, and coupled with his finishing ability he is tough to stop when he is able to get into the paint. Expect Jaden to continue developing his shot throughout the course of his senior season at Lawrence Central. Coach Saunders on Jaden: “Jaden has a nice mid-ranged and outside shot, with above average range on his jump shot. He showed the ability to handle the ball well, and be a great lead guard. He gets others involved at the offensive end of the course, and is an extremely aggressive defender.” Look for a strong senior campaign at both ends of the court from Jaden this coming season.

#26: 6’0 ’19 Caleb Welch of Westfield (Westfield)
Caleb Welch is a gifted lead-guard, who showed the ability to be competitive at both ends of the court. His ability to shoot, and distribute the ball at the offensive end of the court make him a threat every time he has the ball in his hands. His willingness to defend makes him a valuable asset to his team. Caleb’s willingness to make high effort plays, make him Expect Caleb to continue developing his scoring abilities throughout the course of his final two seasons at Westfield. Coach Saunders on Caleb: “Caleb strength was on display at both ends of the court. He is an extremely unselfish lead-guard at the offensive end of the court. He showed a strong ability to mix it up as his team needed it, at both ends of the court.” Look for Caleb to have a strong campaign at both ends of the court throughout his final two seasons at Westfield.

#29: 6’1 ’19 Mason Garland of Fort Wayne Carroll (Fort Wayne)
Mason Garland is an extremely gifted shooter from all over the court, and displayed the capability to score at all three levels. He displayed the ability to move extremely well off the ball, and showed the ability to go up and grab rebounds at both ends of the court. Mason showed the ability to defend well on and off the ball. His vision and court sense allow him to make the right pass when driving into the paint. Expect Mason to continue developing as a defender throughout his final two seasons at Fort Wayne Carroll. Coach Saunders on Mason: “Mason is a very patient, team player. He showed the ability to play extremely well off the ball. He is a solid help-side defender. Showed the ability to be shoot the ball from beyond the three-point line.” Look for Mason to round out his high school career with a couple strong seasons at the offensive end of the court.

#44: 6’3 ’21 Chris Mantis of Lowell (Lowell)
Chris Mantis is a very gifted wing, who showed the ability to score well from beyond the perimeter. He showed an ability to be an impressive ball-handler, with a strong ability to use his off-hand. His ability to catch and shoot makes him a threat from all over the court. As he naturally grows, and continues to get stronger he will become an extremely big threat at the offensive end. Expect Chris to continue developing as a defender, as he is only heading into his freshman season. Coach Saunders on Chris: “Chris is a nice, rangy freshman who is still going to develop his game a lot. He showed an impressive form on his shot from deep. His game is extremely smooth and he has a solid handle. Chris has a tremendous amount of upside.” Expect Chris to be exciting to watch grow over the course of his next four seasons at Lowell.

#63: 6’5 ’19 Hayden Smithey of Fort Wayne Bishop (Fort Wayne)
Hayden Smithey is an extremely gifted athlete, putting this on display at both ends of the court. He is a long wing-forward who showed the ability to guard larger opponents. He handles the ball extremely well for a guard his size, and his ability to finish at the rim over larger defenders makes him a threat every time he gets into the paint. He will continue to refine his shot, extending his range as he continues to grow as a player throughout his final two seasons. Coach Saunders on Hayden: “Hayden has an extremely nice stroke on his shot. He showed the ability to move well without the ball, finding the open spot so he could spot-up and shoot. In addition to his shooting abilities he in extremely gifted passer.” Expect Hayden to have a strong year at the offensive end of the court, during his junior campaign at Fort Wayne Bishop.

#68: 6’6 ’18 Matthew Cornett of South Decatur (Westport)
Matthew Cornett is an extremely gifted big, who makes his living at the defensive end of the court. His ability to wall-up and force opponents to finish over him makes him an extremely valuable defender. In addition to his defensive ability, he is very mobile in the paint and has moved to finish over defenders. His length and size make him very difficult to defend and his ability to read the games at the offensive end are impressive. His high basketball IQ allows him to catch the ball in the mid-post and play out of it, creating plays for those around him. Coach Saunders on Matthew: “Matthew is an extremely strong forward. He is very active in the paint, at both ends of the court. He is a very strong defender. When receiving the ball in the mid-post, he has the ability to pass and score. Expect Matthew to have a strong senior campaign at both ends of the court for South Decatur.

#83: 6’9 ’18 Lucas Lehrman of Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne)
Lucas Lehrman is an extremely long and lanky big, and his hard work makes him a threat at the offensive end of the court. Possessing the ability to step out to 15’-17’, Lucas has very good range for his size, and a nice touch. His high basketball IQ and willingness to pass the ball make him a threat in the deep post, and as defenders drop to help he is able to kick out to open teammates. Expect Lucas to continue growing as a defender, heading into his senior season. Coach Saunders on Lucas: “Lucas is an extremely athletic, active big. His ability to grab rebounds helps his team get extra possessions at the offensive end, and holds opponents to single possessions. He has the ability to finish with both hands over size, and he is a very solid defender.” Expect Lucas to play a big role for Bishop Dwenger at both ends of the court heading into his senior season.
