When you talk about this group, there are a few players who stand out immediately when watching them. 2027 6’4 Braylon Cherry brings length and versatility, displaying fluidity and scoring impact as well as playing multiple positions on the court. 2027 Isaiah Hunter has been strong as well, as the guard has been incredibly productive as an offensive weapon. He has scored the ball effectively, brought leadership, and attacked well off the bounce. 2027 Malachi Shipp and 2027 Rylan Leak are two guards who bring two different games to the court but both bring leadership. Shipp is a quick, creative guard who can really flourish as a scorer while Leak brings a point guard mentality in running the show, getting others involved, and being an impact player on both sides of the court.
But overall, this is a well-coached and talented team that finds ways to win and play together as a group. Players like Christian Coleman, Camren Roberts, Isaiah Carter, and the rest of the roster all find ways to be effective options offensively, bring a balanced attack to the court, share the ball and make impact plays, and compete on both sides of the ball.
