In the third game of the day, Quality Education used their length and athleticism to press from the tip, leading to a 12-4 lead at the end of the first quarter. Bobby Cannon and Nigel Okwakol scored all of the Pharoah’s first quarter points.

The Pharoah’s continued to expand their lead in the second as Bobby Cannon began to impose himself on the defensive side of the ball, collecting blocks and rebounds at will. QEA went into halftime up 28-9, behind Bobby Cannon’s 13 and Nigel Okwakol’s 9. Northwood Temple was led at the break by John Baldwin’s 5 and Kenny Vera’s 4.

An offensively charged Northwood Temple scored 20 in the third quarter, led by Kendall Cave’s 7 and Cannon Keziah’s 6. QEA held steady behind a 10-point quarter from Nigel Okwakol and going into the fourth held a 46-29 lead over the Eagles.

With an early quarter run that just never seemed to end, the Pharoah’s grew their lead as big as 29 and ended up winning 63-34.
