5:00 pm – Ambassador Christian vs. Charlotte Country Day

First game of the night, Ambassador Christian and Charlotte Country Day got things going on the night. AC started things off in the right way, quickly jumping out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter and holding that lead throughout the second quarter. 2025 JD Bowden led the charge both offensively and defensively, scoring 12 points early while 2026 Logan Johnson wasn’t far behind with nine points. 2026 Joseph Youakim led the way for CCDS with 7 points, but AC was up 41-25 at halftime. The action continued in the second half, with AC continuing to find success with their guard play but CCDS got things going more offensively as well. Second half, it was a tight battle throughout but Ambassador’s first half is what set the tone and helped earn them the victory. 6:30 pm – Combine Academy vs. The Burlington School

Next up, two powerhouse teams went to battle and it was looking to be an absolute thriller of a show with premier talent. Both teams came out strong early on, with TBS holding the narrow edge after the first quarter. That back-and-forth feel would only continue, with Combine Academy edging out TBS at half 36-35, with 2025 Josiah Parker leading the charge for Combine and 2027 King Gibson looking sharp as well. This game would just continue the trend that happened in the first half, with both teams trading blows and it relatively staying a basket or two type game. It wasn’t until the fourth quarter when the guard play stepped up for Combine to create just a bit of an edge, but TBS wouldn’t go away as they battled until the end. 2025 Kaden Hammond hit a late three with two seconds to go to make it a 75-72 game, but there wasn’t enough time in the end with Combine securing a hard-fought win.

Final: Combine Academy 76 – The Burlington School 72

Combine: Josiah Parker 20pts, Caleb Thomas 19pts, Yohance Connor 15pts
TBS: King Gibson 26pts, Kaden Hammond 22pts, Drew Johnson 10pts

8:00 pm – Davidson Day vs. Grace Christian

Last game of the night, the home team of Davidson Day welcomed in Grace Christian, as both teams were looking to pick up a quality win on Friday night. Coming in, it looked like the 2025 Isaiah Denis vs. 2025 Michael Phillips matchup, and that is what we got on several occasions as both players led the way by halftime. Grace Christian had Phillips playing at a high level, hitting some really tough shots but it was the balanced attack inside and out of Davidson Day that allowed them to earn the halftime lead. Davidson Day was eventually able to push it to double digits but Grace Christian continued to fight until the very end. However, there was just too much firepower from Davidson Day as they walked away with the home victory.

Final: Davidson Day 72 – Grace Christian 55

DD: Isaiah Denis 19pts, Lincoln Vinson 17pts, William Stevens 13pts
GC: Michael Phillips II 23pts, Isiah Knight 8pts, AJ Gladieux 8pts
