When we spoke to him then, he had this to say about how he would describe his game:

“I am skilled for someone my size. I feel like and I think that I also move pretty well and that I’m very versatile.”

We caught up with Aklog, the intriguing freshman, to see how his season has been going, fighting through some injuries, and also his excitement about earning his first offer.  Check out what he had to say with us on the latest.

Phenom: How has the season been going for you and your team'
Aklog: Right now, it has been good. We just won the Metro Championship but we have had our ups and downs throughout the year so far.

Phenom: How has the season been going for you personally'
Aklog: It started off great and it was throughout the season, but then I hurt my shoulder and have been having problems with it lately but I’ve been playing through it, just struggling a little.

Phenom: I’m sure it has been tough at times this year, but how do you think your game has improved over the last few months'
Aklog: I have become a better shooter. I was shooting 100 percent throughout the first couple of games. I also became a better rebounder and I’m playing more physically.

Phenom: I see you received your first offer not long ago from Seattle. How exciting was that for you'
Aklog: It was very exciting and I was very happy, and it felt good to know I have an option for college.

Phenom: How did you hear about it'
Aklog: They have been recruiting me for a little while before I got it, but then I got a call and they offered me.

Phenom: Know it is still early, but do you know if any other schools have been showing interest your way'
Aklog: Right now, not really but I’m hoping to have a big summer.
