Carmel Christian School and Phenom Hoop Report Team Up to Bring Carmel Christian’s Tip-Off Classic presented by Phenom Hoop Report to Charlotte
CHARLOTTE – Carmel Christian School is partnering with Phenom Hoop Report to host the first annual Carmel Christian’s Tip-Off Classic on November 9-10 at Carmel Christian School (1145 Pineville Matthews Rd, Matthews, NC 28105). This showcase will feature two days of some of the countries elite high school basketball talent. Tickets will be sold on site, the day of the event in a first come first served manner.
This event will be the first-time official North Carolina high school games will be using a shot clock (Read More Here). The hot ticket item has been much talked about over the past year, with not much gray area, either you think it’s great for the game or you don’t think it will matter. This will be the first time North Carolina has implemented the shot clock in a game situation.
The first annual Carmel Christian Tip-Off Classic is set to feature many of the nation’s top prospects. There will be nine players participating who have committed to Division 1 programs, including the likes of Louisville, Alabama and more.
There will also be ten players who are ranked among the nation’s Top 150 prospects in their respective classes including 2022 Jaden Bradley (Cannon School), 2019 Juwan Gary (Liberty Heights) and 2019 Cole Anthony (Oak Hill) who have each participated in their age groups with Team USA.
The Carmel Christian Tip-Off Classic presented by Phenom Hoop Report will host two teams who are ranked among the nation’s Top 25 programs in the Fab 50, one of the most respected national rankings powered by Ball is Life. Carmel Christian begins the year ranked 23rd and Oak Hill Academy starts the year ranked 2nd overall.
This will be the very first event held in this region, kick starting high school basketball season in the Hoop State. Expect thousands of fans to line the stands as they watched the incredible competition. College coaches and nationally read media alike filed into the arena so they could put eyes on the unbelievable talent in the gym. The depth of talent coming to Charlotte, North Carolina will be off the charts.
