The Hoop State Fall League is underway, giving our scouts plenty of topics and players to discuss over the next few weeks before the season ahead. We are just months away from the start of the season, but the Fall League gives us a nice preview of what to watch this upcoming season, as we dive into several storylines.
An unsigned senior looking to make his mark this upcoming season looks to be 2027 6’4 Alex Dauska, a player that has performed quite well on several occasions with Phenom Hoops. Being part of a strong roster at Charlotte Latin, it was clear that this team will rely on him in several areas of the court, whether it is around his leadership, his strength and impact in a variety of positions, or his ability to be an effective scorer from multiple levels. Dauska has been able to show his production on the court, whether it has been an effective knockdown shooter with strong range or his ability to use his body to attack, embrace contact, and finish through defenders. The unsigned senior has been reliable on several occasions to be a strong scorer and mix it up well but also is just as effective in being a reliable source on the glass and defending multiple positions. Dauska’s ability to find ways to impact the game all around makes him highly useful on the court, and that should ultimately shine in a big way at Charlotte Latin this season.
If programs are looking for a versatile scoring piece that can impact the game in several areas, Dauska could be that player as he hopes to have a big senior season ahead.

He finishes well through contact, knocks down jumpers at a nice rate, and is comfortable initiating the offense or posting up smaller opponents. Dauska is a useful rebounder with the ability to push the break in transition.”
“2027 Alex Dauska (CC Elite) continues to impress and elevate his play. Shotmaker from deep, confident from three, and strong overall frame. Impressive summer every time we have watched him.”
“He’s a strong, versatile, well-rounded wing/forward prospect who can do everything on the court. Dauska scored from all levels, initiated the offense as needed, and found success with or without the ball in his hands. He’s capable of defending multiple positions, including much bigger than his listed height, and consistently outworking opponents on the glass. Dauska is an unselfish, adaptable teammate who can produce in various roles.”
