2027 Bryce Chapman (Bishop McGuinness)
Chapman will be a big part of Bishop McGuinness’ success this season, as he continues to shine with his overall value and impact on the court. He brings size to the table at 6’7, along with touch and physicality down in the paint. His motor and involvement all over the court continue to impress, along with his ability to operate from multiple levels and impact on the glass.
2027 Keyonee Terry (Southern Durham)
Terry is a well-known name here in North Carolina, and with Phenom Hoops and even talent returning from last year’s team, Terry has a chance to have an even bigger senior season than he did. Morman and Terry will form one of the top duos in the state and with his length, versatility, and scoring impact, he will be counted on to lead the charge in a big way and finding ways to impact the game all around. And I fully expect him to do just that for Southern Durham once again, as more schools get involved.
2027 Travien Williams (Hickory Ridge)
Another player that continues to shine and be an unstoppable force, Williams will once again show and prove that he is worthy of D1 schools to be all over him in terms of what he can provide. He continues to work in areas of his game, but he is undeniably one of the toughest downhill guards in the state, getting where he wants, when he wants, and his ability to be a playmaker for others. The combination of speed, creativity, physicality, and overall impact as a point guard was impressive throughout, and I fully expect him to have a huge season in leading the way at Hickory Ridge.
2027 Kingston Carmichael (Grimsley)
Carmichael will be an interesting senior to watch, as the 6’4 prospect should bring a ton of value to this year’s team. He continues to shine with his ability to be an effective offensive option, whether it is operating and scoring from the perimeter or using his athleticism to attack and get downhill. He plays with tremendous confidence, blends in well with what the offense runs, and finds ways to be an impact player and leader on the court for this team.
2027 Seth Harris (Western Guilford)
Harris had a huge junior season at Western last year and expects no drop-off from the 6’4 senior this season. He continues to be the clear focal point for this team but he also has plenty of weapons around him, as Harris continues to thrive as a primary scorer, attack off the bounce, be physical inside and out, and also bring tremendous value in so many areas of the court for his team.
2027 MJ Gladden (Statesville)
Statesville continues to take strides as a program, and this season, Gladden will once again be the clear leader for this group. Over the years, he has continued to put in the work and develop his overall game, looking to show hi ability to be a well-rounded athlete. His athleticism has taken a dip at all, using his 6’5 length and bounce to his advantage to score over, around, or through defenders at the rim. But showing more of his jumper and range overall as a prospect.
2027 Brayden Gatling (SW Guilford)
Southwest Guilford will look a bit different but one thing is for sure: Gatling will be the driving force for this team once again this season. Gatling, a smart playmaking point guard that brings a balance of scoring and facilitating, the senior guard will undoubtedly have his team on his shoulders as one who will be required to continue to attack, get paint touches, knock down shots, and be a big help as a facilitator to make others better.
