1of1 Academy looks to be loaded once again, as there is talent to be found everywhere you look. One of those guys is 2026 5’10 LJ Rush, who has been tearing it up this Hoop State Fall League. He has been quickly reminding everyone of his game and playmaking abilities, showing why he is one of the top point guards in the state of North Carolina.
When you talk about Rush, the title of the article fits nicely with his game. He can be an electric game-changer on the court with the ball in his hands but also creates a lot of problems on both sides of the floor. With his speed, creativity, and change of direction, Rush is so tough to stay in front and when you add on his athleticism, he can put on a show. Driving and attacking the paint, as well as finishing at the rim is impressive with his game but he can also hurt you from the perimeter. He uses that same speed to stay in front of defenders and be a pest as well. With what we have seen at the Fall League, Rush should continue to be a priority for college programs.
What Has Been Said at Fall League:
“2026 LJ Rush (1 of 1 Academy) has to be one of the quickest players in the country end to end. Elite speed. Puts constant pressure on opponents in the open court. Excels downhill & can finish above the rim. Excellent vision & playmaking ability.”
“2026 LJ Rush (1of1) has been really good this #HoopStateLeague. Such a gifted guard who attacks so well downhill and has impressive athleticism. Finishes strong, great speed, and electric playmaker on the court. D1 schools should be paying attention his way more.”
