The Live Period is coming up with Phenom Hoops, as we hit the road and travel to Raleigh (NC) for the Phenom G3 LIVE, giving college coaches of all levels a chance to check out talent. Though there will be plenty of names to watch, East Carolina Elite brings a few unsigned seniors who have a chance to play at the next level. We give you that list and what has recently been said about them.

2025 Jermaine Cunningham

“After a season where he led Swansboro to a 25-2 record, Cunningham should have way more traction with college coaches. He’s a smart, well-rounded guard and natural leader by example. Cunningham understands how to dictate the action as a primary creator, displaying great balance between scoring and playmaking. Cunningham is a terrific penetrator who breaks down opponents to get downhill and finish or set up others. He can knock down jumpers at a solid rate but is arguably at his best attacking the basket or applying pressure in transition. Cunningham also stands out as a quality defender and rebounder for his size. He will carve out a role wherever he ends up.”

2025 Jonah Holt

“Holt is a newer name that we have talked about the last two weeks but from what I’ve seen, he can play at the next level. The 6’3 prospect has a smooth feel to his game and understands how to be efficient and effective. Whether scoring off the dribble, knocking down shots off the catch, creating and helping on the boards, and being able to play multiple positions, Holt deserves more attention his way out east in North Carolina.”

2025 Lenny Hunter

“Hunter had an underrated showing at the Phenom May Madness, as the 6’6 prospect flourished with his combination of size, fluidity, athleticism, and impact. He attacks the glass well, has a good overall skillset that allows him to play in transition, and has a good touch around the basket as well as stepping out at times. Good overall frame that finishes strong against opponents.”
