When you first look at Conference 4 in North Carolina, the first team that you automatically see is Farmville Central as they continue to show why they are one of the top teams and programs in the state. But not far behind them sit the Rams of Greene Central.
They have had some tough losses on the season and struggled against Farmville Central on the road, but this is still an experienced team that is having a strong season. Right now, they sit at 14-4 and 5-2 in conference play.
They also have a balanced and deep team, with 13 players playing more than six games this year. The senior, Dontavious Pettaway, leads the charge this season, averaging 10.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. Not far behind him is 2023 Kendrick Harper who is posting numbers of 10.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game. After that, they have five other players that are averaging over five points per game.
They will have some big games coming up to end the season, with two road games against Ayden-Grifton and Washington, and then they will face Farmville Central once again. But this is an intriguing team to keep tabs on as they have had a solid season overall.
