6’6 ’27 Mandrake Lewis (Elite One)

Given his combination of size, motor, and two-way physicality, it’s clear that Lewis stood out as a major contributor for this group. He’s a long, wiry, opportunistic forward who plays with terrific energy and toughness. Lewis is a quality athlete who regularly outworks opponents on the glass, blocks shots at a strong rate, and finishes extremely well through contact and above the rim. He also runs the floor effectively in transition and naturally seems to find production within the flow of the action. Lewis is a major asset to this group.

6’6 ’27 Connor Wilcox (Team Richmond)

There were several meaningful contributors throughout the Team Richmond roster, but it felt like Wilcox was their most consistently involved producer. At 6-foot-6, he’s a versatile forward who can operate around the basket or along the perimeter. Wilcox is a nice shooter, particularly for his size, who does a great job of getting downhill and putting pressure on the rim. He’s a willing passer with solid playmaking instincts and a strong frame to absorb contact. Wilcox is a solid defender and rebounder who knows how to push the break in transition.

6’6 ’27 Stephen Stockton (Roots Rockin)

Although we’ve watched his game steadily blossom, it’s clear that Stockton should be a target for several types of college programs going into the coming months. He’s an extremely long, explosive forward with great size and the ability to physically overwhelm opponents on both ends of the floor. Stockton is a bouncy finisher and capable floor-spacer who regularly finds second-chance opportunities through his activity on the glass. He secures rebounds and blocks shots at a healthy rate and runs the floor well in transition. One could argue that his best basketball is still ahead.

6’4 ’27 Darius Barnett (Grind Hoops)

Despite some ups and downs as a team, it’s impossible to ignore the tough, rugged, physical approach that Barnett brings to the game. He’s the type of guy coaches should simply want on their team. Barnett is a great athlete and incredible competitor who wants to dominate opponents on both ends of the floor. He defends with excellent energy, rebounds his position at a high rate, and operates as a primary creator offensively. Barnett is a capable perimeter shooter, but is arguably at his best when getting downhill and putting pressure on the rim.
