De’Riante Jenkins has seen his recruitment really take off over the past few months and Phenom Hoops was lucky enough to watch him live at our David Rose Memorial Classic in May.
Jenkins’ latest offer came from Georgia Tech and it seems they are making him a priority in their recruitment for the 2016 class.
“They have been recruiting me for a while now,” Jenkins told Phenom Hoops. “I took a visit a couple of months ago and it was a good visit. They talk about me coming in and playing right away as a freshman and how they graduate all their players.”
Jenkins informed us that several programs are keeping in touch with him and coming hard for him, while a few programs are looking to be at his games this month as he plays on the AAU circuit.
Continue to watch out for Jenkins and his recruitment, as programs are sure to come flocking to watch him this July.

Deriante Jenkins 6’6 Upward Stars SE
(West Oaks FL)
Again, people know Jenkins. However, he has taken his game to a new level. He left Lake Merion HS to head down to West Oaks, and with his reclass his game developed. Now people should be looking at Jenkins as a Top 100 type player in the 2016 class. He has great court awareness as a passer and play maker. He is also very long and athletic, allowing him to get to the rim as he pleases. The upside is there for more.
