People know about TJ Jeffers, he participated in the prestigious North Carolina Top 80, and showed well for himself. However, I am not sure that many people outside of us who selected the North Carolina Top 80 knew just how good Jeffers is.

After his performance at the North Carolina Top 80, we wrote,''TJ is a very athletic wing guard that can do so many things on both ends of the court. Coach Moxley stated, 'TJ is a high flying machine who is a natural rebounder. He anticipated the ball coming off the rim extremely well.' With his superb athleticism and combined skills, TJ has the ability to score from all three levels on the court. He shot the ball extremely well from the perimeter and showcased efficient 3-point range. Although TJ is offensively gifted, we were equally impressed with his defensive aggressiveness. He's an outstanding on ball defender and his lateral quickness is all high level.'

Jeffers AAU Coach Will Roberson stated,''Jeffers has tremendous basketball IQ and vision. He has started the last two years of high school, for a team that has gone 65-2.'In addition, Jeffers is a natural leader and has gotten the job done on a consistent basis.'

This weekend Jeffers further solidified his status as a college prospect. Along with playing stifling on the ball defense and high IQ off the ball defense, Jeffers averaged 16.7 points, making 4 3s, and going 17-19 from the free throw line. He was voted team MVP all 3 games, for a team who went 3-0.
