Phenom Hoops’ job is to provide eyes and recognition of players’ game around the country, giving them a platform to shine on the biggest of stages. A player who was incredibly impressive this past summer and left a lasting memory was 2026 6’7 Cutter Sisk, and we are here to say that D1 schools should be recruiting hard.
At the Summer Havoc LIVE event this past summer, Patrick O’Brien had this to say about his game:
“Getting multiple viewings of his game at the event, Sisk was one that simply grabbed your attention with his production, his feel at his position, and his overall feel for the game. He still looks to be a young prospect, as he still has that young face, but he was dominating with his impact on the court. Sisk has excellent hands and feel down in the post, understanding well how to operate with his back to the basket, is excellent on the boards, and finishes at a high level. But the big man can hurt you in so many ways, as he creates second-chance points attacking the boards, bullying defenders in the paint, being able to make plays with the dribble and handles, and being comfortable in stepping out from outside from three.”
To say that we walked away impressed is an understatement, and his game should translate really well to the next level as he continues to develop. Sisk has excellent feel in so many ways on the court; excellent footwork and feel in the post, terrific finishing ability against contact, great touch around the basket, and excellent instincts and feel on the glass creating extra opportunities for his team. But he also was able to display comfort level in stretching the floor from the perimeter, can facilitate to his teammates well inside and out, and also shows good handles as a big man. So far this season, the big man is posting averages of 23ppg, 10rpg, and 2bpg, and he has only continued to get better as a prospect since we last viewed him.
But the time is now for college coaches to come his way and I believe his recruitment should take off this season and summer.
