Over the weekend the CP3 Skills Academy staff hosted a free clinic at Proehlific Park in the heart of Greensboro.
The event drew in over 40 players ages five to 15 from all over the triad. Academy developers worked with youngsters on the fundamentals, dribbling, passing, and layups were emphasized. Each drill forced participants to utilize both hands, players tend to rely on their dominant hand when first learning the game.
Players were broken up by age groups and assigned to several stations, this regimen allowed Developers to get up close with players and deliver direct instruction.
Parents and other spectators filled the bleachers to find out all about the hype surrounding the Skills Academy. Lead developer Coach Jon Adams spoke with the kids about life lessons bigger than basketball throughout.
