The CP3 Rising Stars Camp brought some of the nation’s top young prospects to Bermuda Run, North Carolina, for an exciting weekend of competition and evaluation. Phenom Hoops had an excellent opportunity to watch several familiar standouts while also learning about new names who quickly made their presence felt. With talent on display throughout the event, we now take a closer look at several players who impressed and grabbed our attention.
Next prospect up is one that we have actually had a chance to watch in the past as well, as 2029 6’7 Jeremiah Williams is a name that many have already heard, including Phenom Hoops. Regarded as a premier prospect in the region for his class, we were eager to see his development as a prospect overall since the last time we watched him.
Rewinding back to when we watched him at the Paul Biancardi Camp, we had this to say about the young prospect at the time back in 2025
“As a young prospect, one can see that he will be a name you hear about a lot down the road. He checks off a lot of early boxes with his game, size, and feel at his age. As a perimeter prospect (CG/Wing), you can help but love his upside with his game, along with his unselfishness and ability to score from the perimeter and off the bounce, especially with his impressive size. Looks to be a big name in his class and has a strong family pedigree/understanding.”
Fast forward to today, Williams continues to shine as a very intriguing talent that has a chance to be a big name in the class. Not only does he bring enticing size at 6’7, but he also provides a talent that can be effective from outside as well as off the bounce. When we watched him, Williams was strong off the bounce in being able to create and break down defenders, using his length to attack and cover a lot of space as well as get to the rim consistently. However, he can be just as effective playing off the ball to knock down shots or create his own shot from multiple levels, making him a strong weapon with upside as he continues to add more and get stronger. Proving to be a 3-level scorer on the floor, he brings a strong blend as a scorer but also makes the right decisions on the court.
Again, Williams brings size, skill, shot-making ability, versatility, a downhill presence at the rim… all as a wing prospect (and add-on upside as well to his game), we expect him to be a prospect worthy for college coaches to check out quickly in the coming years.
