They brought a balanced attack that had several players step up and contribute last year, and this was a team that was able to produce offensively, averaging nearly 75 points per game. And even though they will be losing a few key seniors this year, Robinson has a chance to continue their trend from last year, rack up the wins, and be a force throughout the Charlotte area. 2025 David Frazier was big for them last year, leading the charge as an experienced prospect and as a scorer. 2025 Jarrell Reid was another player who was able to contribute to the team last year; both of whom will now be gone. And though it is still early before the season, this is a team that will be returning plenty of talent. 2026 Damontre Harlee, 2026 Jamell Reid, and 2026 Noah Speller all nearly averaged double-figures on the season, and they will have a chance to step up even more this year, bringing a strong three-headed force to the court. However, diving down the roster even more from last year, this is a team that will have plenty of other seniors and juniors, which should allow this team to not miss a beat.
With a proven track record of success from last year, a strong core of returning talent, and a system that allows multiple players to shine, Jay M. Robinson looks poised to build on last year’s momentum. The Bulldogs may have lost some key contributors, but their depth and balance suggest that this group has all the tools to stay among the top programs in the Charlotte area. If their leaders can take the next step and the supporting cast continues to grow, Robinson could very well turn last season’s impressive campaign into an even deeper run this time around.
