Talent extends well beyond the top names in the Phenom Hoops rankings, and the prospects positioned between No. 31 and No. 40 continue to prove that point. This group features productive, skilled, and versatile players who consistently make their presence felt and deserve increased attention from college programs. As they prepare for another important season, these prospects will have opportunities to strengthen their recruiting profiles, elevate their stock, and show coaches why they can contribute at the next level.
2027 6’5 Zyon White (Chambers)
White is a player I believe has full potential and is one you want to play the long game with. He has length and size, and his perimeter shot-making can be quite effective. But this summer, White has shown more of a balanced attack as he continues to add more as a scorer from multiple levels, using his length well, and continuing to get stronger. I think his best years are ahead for him.
2027 6’4 Seth Harris (Western Guilford)
Harris is a versatile two-way guard who creates for himself and others while applying efficient scoring pressure from all levels. He also contributes as a cutter and spot-up threat, using his length and motor to disrupt opponents, force turnovers, and rebound effectively for his position. He has had some big seasons during his high school season as well as in the summer, as I believe he could be a sneaky prospect to look at more.
2027 6’7 Avery Hicks (Wakefield)
Hicks is a player we have talked about quite a few times, and there is a lot to like about what he provides. He had a big season at Wakefield last year, and he looks to be one of the clear leaders once again. What catches my attention with his game is not only his frame but his overall motor, impacting the game all around, getting on the glass, finishing strong at the rim, and just playing with tremendous energy.
2027 6’2 Kamauri Manuel (West Forsyth)
Manuel is a versatile two-way player whose IQ, motor, skill, and athleticism allow him to thrive in multiple roles. He scores from all three levels, rebounds effectively, makes consistent hustle plays, and uses his defensive presence to overwhelm opponents. Manuel’s ability to impact the game without requiring constant touches makes him a valuable piece in any lineup. His well-rounded approach and willingness to compete allow him to influence winning on both ends of the floor.
2027 6’3 Parker Watkins (Central Cabarrus)
Watkins is a skilled scoring guard whose shot-making ability allows him to produce in various ways. He combines a crafty handle with the ability to create his own shot, spot up, cut, and navigate screens effectively. Watkins keeps constant pressure on defenses whether playing on or off the ball. He also contributes as a capable defender and rebounder, but his ability to consistently fill it up remains his calling card.
