Class of 2026 guard Anthony Brown (6’1, Archbishop Carroll/Team Durant) has announced his commitment to Vanderbilt, choosing the Commodores over programs like Maryland and Indiana. Brown has been one of the most productive guards on the EYBL circuit, averaging nearly 19 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds, showcasing his ability to score at all three levels while also creating for others. His combination of quickness, playmaking vision, and competitiveness make him a valuable backcourt addition for Mark Byington’s staff, who see him as a cornerstone piece for the future.
Brown thrives at attacking downhill, scoring off the dribble, and making plays in both transition and halfcourt settings. Defensively, he brings toughness and energy, which will help him compete early in the SEC. Ranked as the 23rd highest commit in Vanderbilt history, Brown projects as a versatile two-way guard who can make an immediate impact while continuing to grow into a lead role for the Commodores.
