Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Cinque Lemon
Class: 2022
Committed to: Western Carolina

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

“I would have to say that I’m a three-level scorer. I like to get out in transition, get easy looks, and to really sum everything else up; I’ll do whatever I’m needed to do to win.” – Cinque Lemon

“Lemon is an all-around wing prospect with size, athleticism, and no glaring weaknesses within his skillset. Those qualities alone should make him extremely desirable for a ton of Division I programs, yet schools have merely dragged their feet over the last calendar year. Lemon is great in the midrange and applies strong pressure when attacking the basket but can also knock down jumpers from distance at a solid clip. He defends multiple positions, rebounds very well, and can create his own shot off the bounce. Lemon is too talented to get brushed aside.”

“One thing about this Liberty Heights team, on any night they can have someone step up and lead the charge. On Day 1, it was 2022 Cinque Lemon that stepped up for his team. Lemon continued to show what he has shown over and over; the ability to knock down shots from multiple levels with a confident jumper.  But what was also impressive was the double-double he secured, racking up 10 rebounds as well to go with his 15 points.”

“Lemon has been a known scorer on the court and he looks even bigger and stronger heading into the season. Still sits a 6’6 with a strong frame, creates for himself, can rise over defenders with jumper, and can score on multiple levels.”

“Lemon is a versatile player who can impact the game on both sides of the ball. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions and rebounds very well. He is a player who can finish with a double-double any game (I’ve personally watched him do this firsthand multiple times). He is super active. He plays with a high motor. On the offensive end, he attacks the basket strong. He can finish through contact or play under control and finish around the defense.”
