2026 Nicholas McLean (1of1 Elite)

McLean is one I was eager to see, especially to check out his improvement and overall development. He didn’t disappoint as he showed his growth as a player, both with his skillset and overall frame. McLean has gotten bigger and stronger, and is looking much more confident with his overall feel. He scored well around the basket, whether it is with touch or finishing off alleys/drop-offs at the rim. But he also impressed with his comfort level in stepping out, being an option in catch-and-shoot situations from the perimeter. I’m eager to see how he continues to improve his overall game.

2026 Eli Brown (Upstate Hornets)

Brown is one that I believe is a sleeper as a prospect. He may not jump out to you but time after time, I’ve watched this young man post 30-point outings and just finds ways to score. He moves well without the ball, plays hard and with a motor, shows footwork and touch around the basket, and can hurt you from multiple levels in facing up and knocking down shots. Brown just produces and I believe he could be a sneaky get for a future program.

2026 Alessandro Luparia (Team Hustle)

Another guard that really impressed me at the event was Luparia; he was electric with the ball in his hands overall. He is a true playmaking guard with swagger, but also a high IQ facilitator. Luparia has strong handles and crafty moves, plays with pace and reads the floor well. But he is more than capable of being a shooter from outside as well as using his strong frame to attack off the bounce and finish around defenders. I believe that he is another sneaky guard to watch out for in the Class of 2026.

2026 Cameron Thompson (Team Charlotte)

Thompson may have had the best and most eye-opening performance, averaging 24 points per game and being extremely productive throughout. Thompson is one that we have highlighted before as being a useful piece that does what is needed, makes those hustle plays, and competes. But this weekend, he was able to show more of his offensive capabilities when the ball is in his hands and how he can produce offensively.  It is time for college programs to start looking harder at Thompson and what he can provide.
