2027 Kalou Fofana (Tennessee Travelers)
I absolutely loved watching Fofana in action all weekend long, and if I were a college coach, he would be a guard I would have my eyes on. What he was able to provide throughout the event was impressive: speed and ability to create, strong out in transition, paint penetrator, and a huge difference-maker on the defensive end for his team. The energy he played with was off the charts, as he was such an effective guard off the bounce as a scorer but a playmaker for others. And again, his defensive intensity was a game-changer for his team.
2027 Kayson Dawson (Upward Stars Pee Dee)
Dawson is another guard that performed really well throughout the event, and he should garner more attention his way. A long guard at his position, Dawson was able to shine as an effective and consistent scoring presence inside and out, creating well but also being just as effective from behind the arc. But his overall ability to lead the charge, ability to play on and off the ball, and impressive shot-making were all on display at the event and he proved again that he is a next-level guard.
2027 Melvin Wofford (Team Loaded 757)
Though one can talk about Team Loaded 757 overall, Wofford continues to be one that I really enjoy watching operate on the court. He is such a strong focal point on the court with his ability to apply pressure, create and shine with his quickness, and his overall tough-minded approach on the court. Impacts the game in a variety of ways, finishes tough drives, can knock down open shots, and constantly applies energy on both sides of the floor. Easily should be a player for college coaches to look at and snag.
2027 Brayden Mack (Upward Stars Columbia)
Mack provided a steady and reliable presence in the backcourt, consistently showing his ability to control the pace and make smart decisions with the ball. He did a great job in setting up teammates, attacking the paint, and applying pressure on the defense without forcing. Mack also proved to be a capable scoring threat both off the catch and off the bounce, giving him another layer of versatility as a lead guard. His composure, feel for the game, and ability to impact possessions in multiple ways made him a valuable piece throughout the event.
2027 Mikey Williams (Next Level Elite)
Williams continues to be a sneaky guard down in South Carolina that I believe should garner a bit more attention. He brings a strong, physical presence to the backcourt and plays with the leadership and confidence needed to impact winning. Williams is effective playing off the ball, where he can knock down shots and provide floor spacing, but he is equally comfortable creating for himself and others off the bounce. His versatility, toughness, and ability to contribute in multiple roles make him an intriguing guard to track.
2027 Cash Hall (PSB Elite)
Hall put on a strong showing when watching him on the court and deserves to be a player to receive more attention his way. He brings a true scoring presence to the court and is comfortable producing both on and off the ball. Hall is a creative offensive weapon who can generate his own opportunities, create separation, and knock down shots from multiple areas of the floor. His versatility as a scorer and ability to consistently put pressure on defenses make him an intriguing prospect for coaches to track closely.
