More about his game and What he brings to Coastal Carolina:
Coastal Carolina has been putting in work for the Class of 2025, as Thompson gives them their third commitment to go along with Patrick Liburd and Devin Brown. Thompson may not be a nationally-ranked prospect but he is considered one of the top prospects in the state of South Carolina, and honestly is one that went under the radar for far to long. Thompson is a very intriguing prospect and has consistently produced when on the court at Wilson. He has great size at 6’5 and has been used (as well as understands) in so many ways on the past, allowing him to be extremely versatile on the court. Thompson can play and operate from multiple positions, scoring inside against bigs but also stepping out and hurting opponents as well. As we mentioned above, he can adapt to many things in what his team needs, which should allow Coastal Carolina to mix things up with Thompson on the floor. With his understanding and versatility, his ability to handle and create, and his ability to play/defend multiple positions, Thompson should be a key piece to the future of the program.
