Born and raised in PA, Coach Newson was a volunteer assistant at West Virginia and then became the AC at West Caldwell high school. He finally got a head coaching opportunity and hasn’t looked back. Now at Mountain Heritage, he has made a run to the Elite 8 and Sweet 16 multiple times and has put his program on the map. What has it been like to play for a small community and what has he seen from the local fan support?
