Devon Dotson
6’1” 2018 Providence Day (NC)
Dotson put on a show throughout the event. Day 1 he drew comparisons to Derrick Rose, day 2 he did pretty much the same as he dismantled nationally ranked High Point Christian. After watching him in the Phenom National Showcase, long time scout Clark Francis published “Dotson is the best point guard to come out of North Carolina since Chris Paul.” Dotson gets into the lane at will, and showed great decision making and vision when there.
Edrice Adebayo (Kentucky)
6’9” 2016 High Point Christian (NC)
Adebayo is a man amongst boys in the paint. Not only is he just so far more developed than most, he is also typically one of the most athletic players on the floor and has a motor that runs the highest. He plays above the rim, with finishes that ignite the crowd. His footwork has improved greatly and he has touch around the basket.
Isaac Sufferen
6’3” 2018 Myers Park HS (NC)
Sufferen was one of the top scorers at NC Phenom 150 Session 2. He carried that over into this event as he scorched the nets for 6 3s and 4-4 from the free throw line. Sufferen, who has good length, was able to create his own shot and played with great confidence.
Jairus Hamilton
6’7” 2018 Cannon School (NC)
Hamilton broke out playing with Team United this summer at the David Rose Memorial Day Classic, he furthered his story by his play at the Phenom High School Jamboree. Hamilton has a college ready frame, as a high school sophomore. He is a very good athlete, both laterally and vertically. He is also a very good passer, the game is slowing for him in the half court. He has a lot of the tools you cannot teach.
CJ Gettlefinger
6’1” 2019 Grace Christian (TN)
This was our first viewing of Gettlefinger, and it was an impressive one. Gettlefinger has great length with a wing span that is 6’6”+. The lefties handle is tight in the half court and he was able to get where he wanted on the floor. Gettlefinger displayed great vision and a craftiness in the paint. Will be very eager to watch him progress, there is a lot to like here.
