Lady Phenom went out on Sunday to the Charlotte Dream Elite Media Day, getting yet another glimpse of the taletn this program will be bringing to the court this season. A staple in North Carolina, this program always seems to bring new names for our scouts to learn and watch, and this year seems to be no different, with an early look. We dive a little bit into the roster and what we saw in a short scrimmage, but we are eager to see more of them this upcoming season.
16u Team
- 2029 Braylee Johnson
- 2028 Gabriella Willis
- 2028 Hannah McLeod
- 2028 Cecelia Lambert
- 2028 Armani Clemons
- 2029 Brooklyn Johnson
- 2029 Jade Jordan
- 2028 Ava Warner
- 2028 Eva Matthews
- 2028 Elizabeth Delacruz
- 2029 Bristol Smith
2028 Gabriella Willis was one who stood out with her ability to create off the bounce, make plays, and be a true scorer. 2028 Elizabeth Delacruz was another one who brought size but also the ability to score from multiple levels. 2029 Braylee Johnson and 2029 Brooklyn Johnson were strong PG’s that created well. 2029 Jade Jordan had flashes of her ability to create and help in several areas of the court. 2029 Jade Jordan showed she could knock down shots, and 2028 Ava Warner had a good IQ and feel for the game. 2029 Bristol Smith was hurt, but she should have an impact down in the paint for this team.
14u Team
- 2030 Trinity Durant
- 2030 Mia Donaldson
- 2030 Calia Jackson
- 2031 Sawyer Robitzer
- 2030 Finley Cline
- 2030 Peyton McCauley
- 2031 Rylee Warren
- 2030 Madalyn Murphy
- 2030 Rylan Seegars
- 2030 India Adams
When talking about this team, there were a few players who captured our eyes with their ability to be impact players and scorers. 2030 Trinity Durant, 2030 Peyton McCauley, 2031 Rylee Warren, and 2030 Rylan Seegars all presented strong flashes of their game and should be a big part to the team’s success this season. 2030 Calia Jackson brought a strong two-way presence on the court, and 2031 Sayer Robitzer was a perimeter threat for this team.
13u Team
- 2032 Ivory Adams
- 2031 Cora Malouf
- 2032 Lilyana Green
- 2031 Ayona Belton
- 2031 Oona Seier
- 2031 Jaiyana Thomas
- 2031 Aubree Robinson
- 2032 Aniyah McIlwain
- 2031 Xena Salters
Highly intriguing young group that I think has some strong talent to watch. 2031 Aubree Robinson has a ton of potential and upside, but is one that can anchor the paint on both ends. 2032 Ivory Adams is a scrappy defender and impacts the game all around. 2032 Lilyana Green is wired to score and create, and she has shown that on several occasions. 2032 Aniyah McIlwain will bring good size, run the floor well, and attack the glass.
12u
- 2032 Jayda Mobley
- 2034 Iliyah Adams
- 2032 Mia Moore
- 2032 Chloe Green
- 2033 Avery McGrath
- 2032 Madelyn Rutherford
- 2033 Aaliyah Wilson
- 2032 Ava Pitman
- 2032 Maeve Short
- 2032 Farrah Murphy
The youngest group, but certainly one to keep an eye on as well. 2032 Maeve Short brings length, activity, and a nice early feel as she continues to develop her overall game. 2032 Mia Moore is a creator and was able to flourish with her handles. 2032 Chloe Green brings size down in the paint and protects the paint well defensively. 2033 Aaliyah Wilson is an active all-around player for this team. And 2032 Jayda Mobley brings an unselfish nature to the court, but also one that can score as well.
