The final game of Phenom Hoops’ Country Roads Holiday Invitational showcased the hosting Chapmanville against The Miller School, which guaranteed for some quality basketball. The Miller School came out and played a nearly perfect first quarter, moving the ball with ease, unselfishness, and exploiting mismatches whenever possible. They entered halftime with a seven-point lead behind a balanced approach but mainly the stellar two-way play of Quadir Pettaway. However, Obinna Killen and Chapmanville came out of halftime with a fairly dominant showing on both ends of the floor. The adjustments and game plan from Chapmanville allowed for an incredible come-from-behind, 64-61 victory over The Miller School.
