Westminster Catawba vs. Asheville School
Day 2 got underway with Westminster Catawba and Asheville School, and both teams brought intriguing prospects to watch out for. Asheville School got things going early on and stayed consistent throughout, as 2025 Miki Gacic had things rolling all throughout while 2026 Heimir Helgason operated well throughout. It is what led them to a double-digit lead at halftime, 39-28. Westminster Catawba was led by 2025 Brycen Redmon, who put on a strong scoring show all throughout and was the clear go-to scorer on the court. Though Redmon was able to get over the 30-point mark in this game, the Asheville School stayed in control throughout the second half and earned the victory.

Concord Academy vs. Victory Christian
Heading into the second game, we had two strong programs match up here on Saturday between Concord Academy and VCCS. Both teams started slow and looked to get a feel for each other, with Concord holding a narrow lead early on. They continued to hold that narrow lead heading into halftime with a balanced offensive attack, but VCCS was right there within striking distance. 2026 Justyn Whitfield got things going more in the second half, ultimately leading the way for VCCS but with six players scoring seven or more points for Concord, it was just too much in the end. Concord ended up taking home the 57-46 victory.
Concord Academy 57 – Victory Christian 46

Ambassador Christian vs. Grace Christian
Game 3 on the schedule, Grace Christian was back in action and we had an opportunity to get our first viewing of Ambassador Christian. Ambassador came out strong early and looked good with a balanced attack. 2026 Logan Johnson had clearly elevated his game and led the charge early on, knocking down shots early. But it was a very balanced overall scoring from Ambassador Christian, using their depth and guard play to their advantage. It is what allowed them to jump out to a 39-15 halftime lead. 2025 Michael Phillips got things going more in the second half but it was just too much overall, as Ambassador only increased its lead in the second half. They never looked back after the first quarter, winning 77-45.

Queens Grant vs. Gaston Christian
Game 4 continued what was an exciting day of basketball, as Joe Badgett and Queen’s Grant looked to battle against Gaston Christian and company. It was a very even matchup that stayed that way all throughout. Gaston Christian was able to jump out to the narrow 22-17 lead after the first quarter led by 2026 Cam Newman and company. But the young prospects and balance scoring of Queen’s Grant kept them within a bucket at halftime. It stayed that way for much of the second half as well, with both teams trading blows and stepping up to answer. Queen’s hit some big shots from players like 2028 Mekhi Allen, 2028 Bobby Montgomery, and 2028 Chase Smith, while Newman and 2025 Dario Williams led the way for Gaston. It came down to the end, tied at 56 and it was Newman who was able to create and get to the line, ultimately hitting the game-winning free throws to earn the victory.

Combine Academy vs. WS Christian
It was the battle of the Titans between Combine Academy and WS Christian, as both teams bring big-time talent to the court. Combine came out strong early on and really looked to push the pace. It is what allowed them to jump out to an early lead and carry that into a double-digit halftime lead, 39-27. 2025 Josiah Parker was really good throughout, scoring and rebounding, being active all throughout, while 2026 Yohance Connor, 2025 Kaden Magwood, and 2025 Caleb Thomas all chipped in. 2025 Adriel Nyorha led the charge for WS Christian early on. Combine didn’t let up, and continued to increase its lead. WS Christian was able to chip away just a bit in the fourth quarter but in the end, it was all Combine impressively.

Carmel Christian vs. The Burlington School
In the final game of the event, we had two teams that were looking to bounce back from Day 1 in front of a rowdy home crowd of Carmel Christian. Carmel came out strong, especially with 2027 King Gibson got in early foul trouble. 2025 Chandler Kennedy and 2025 Bryce Slay both scored in double-figures in the first half, as Carmel Christian was able to walk into halftime with a 37-30 lead. But credit to TBS, as players like 2025 Cam Flippen helped lead the way early and Gibson started to get going in the second half, as TBS was able to take the lead 49-47 after three quarters. It was a back-and-forth contest throughout and it seemed like it was anyone’s game. It was Gibson and company that stepped up late, made some key stops, and ultimately secured the comeback win 65-59.
Final: The Burlington School 65 – Carmel Christian 59
