Five-star power forward Cameron Williams, one of the top prospects in the 2026 class, has committed to the Duke Blue Devils, selecting Duke over elite competition from Arizona and Texas. Williams stands at 6′11 with a long wingspan, fluid mobility and versatility that allows him to defend multiple positions and attack the rim with authority. He is consistently ranked among the top players in his class, and his combination of size, skill and athleticism draws interest from NBA scouts as well as elite college programs.
Coming out of St. Mary’s High School in Phoenix, Williams has made a name for himself with defensive presence, rebounding strength and a growing perimeter skill-set that fits modern big-man roles.

Duke’s rich tradition of developing frontcourt talent and competing for championships played a major role in Williams’ decision. For Duke, landing Williams represents a significant recruiting victory — a top-tier big man who can anchor the frontcourt and help shape the next era of the program. A physically gifted 6′11 forward capable of defending at the rim and switching in space. Emerging perimeter game and face-up ability, giving Duke a modern big who can run the floor and stretch the defense. Rebounding and shot-blocking upside, with the mobility to make an early impact. A high ceiling; while still developing some parts of his game, his tools suggest star potential.
